About the Chief,
Justin started as a Police Officer in Springdale in the year 1999, then came to Brackenridge on Jan. 13, 2002 where he proudly served his community for 22 year's that he grew up in. Justin earned his title as Chief for the department on Jan 2, 2019. During his extensive career in law enforcement, Chief McIntire left an ever-lasting impression on the residents in Brackenridge and surrounding areas.
Justin loved to hunt, fish, play euchre, camp, going to the boat docks, and spending time with his family.
Jan 2, 2023, Chief Justin was in a foot pursuit of a wanted suspect, the suspect killed Chief Justin McIntire that afternoon, 4 years to the date that he received the Honor of becoming Chief. Chief Justin McIntire leaves behind his wife, his children, siblings (in-laws), nieces, nephews, parents and their spouses, friends, his co-workers and the entire LEO family, Justin was loved by so many and is deeply missed every day.
